How to Measure Propellant (Gunpowder) Moisture?
Turn on the METRINCO M131M moisture meter, select the desired type of propellant, and immerse the sensor plate into the material to be measured so that it fits tightly against the sensor without large air gaps, to the desired depth. The sensor is located at the end of the plate, marked with a white line. Read the moisture value on the device screen.
How to Achieve Maximum Measurement Accuracy?
When measuring moisture in metal containers, the sensor plate should be placed at least 6 cm away from the nearest metal object. If the sample size is small, it is recommended to use any plastic container.
