METRINCO R600UA is a portable dosimeter for operational monitoring of X-ray, gamma and beta radiation.

Ergonomic design, compactness, durable ABS plastic housing and intuitive interface provide convenient and reliable use of the device in the field and at home. The radiation meter is equipped with an energy-compensated Geiger-Muller counter characterised by a wide range and high measurement accuracy, a 32-bit microprocessor, a large 64 x 128 LCD display for easy reading of measurement results and a built-in alarm with adjustable alarm thresholds.

The built-in memory of the device stores data on the accumulated dose value, dose rate alarm threshold and dose threshold value, which will not be lost after power off. The device can be operated from 3 AAA batteries or in stationary mode from a USB-C connector.

The device has a menu in Ukrainian or English (the language is switched in the device menu), is easy to use, small in size and weight, has low power consumption and high measurement accuracy (error within 7-10%).

Built-in functions: low battery indication, audible alarm when exceeding the permissible limits for measuring radiation power and dose value, real-time display of the dose rate curve, LCD backlight on/off function, real-time measurement of dose rate, simultaneous recording of cumulative dose and viewing the start date of the current cumulative dose measurement greatly facilitate the user's work.

The METRINCO R600UA dosimeter is widely used for radiation detection in residential premises and buildings, at petrochemical enterprises, in geological surveys, in healthcare facilities, radiation therapy rooms, nuclear laboratories, nuclear power plants, for inspection of imported and exported goods, construction materials, iron and steel scrap, for industrial non-destructive testing of ionising radiation, radiation agents received by persons under enhanced supervision and protection, etc.
