Professional wood moisture meter METRINCO M112W (with a scanning depth of 25 mm)

The METRINCO M112W moisture meter is designed to measure the moisture content of wood in a non-destructive manner.

The moisture meter is designed to measure the moisture content of processed wood (planed board or beam, finished wood products, etc.). It has the highest measurement accuracy among our line of non-destructive wood moisture meters (in practice, the accuracy is better than 1%). It is designed to work with wood up to 25 mm thick.

This model has a dielcometric method of measuring wood moisture content - the test sample is not damaged during testing. To take a measurement, simply place the device on the surface with the sensitive sensor and wait for the readings to stabilise.

Features of the Metrinco M112W:

• The moisture meter is based on the dielcometric measurement method.
• The device can determine the moisture content of wood products in the range from 0 to 40% with very high accuracy.
• For convenience, wood types are divided into 5 groups depending on their density and are presented in the selection menu in English, which greatly simplifies the operation of the device.
• The surface of the sample should be flat at the measurement point and tightly adjacent to the sensor surface. 
• Roughness of the surface and the presence of air gaps between the antenna and the sample can degrade the measurement accuracy.

Functions of the Metrinco M112W moisture meter:

• Holding the measurement result on the screen. It is switched on and off by the "Λ/HOLD" button and in the measurement mode provides fixation of the measurement result on the device screen until the button is pressed again.
• Battery charge control. The device signals the battery discharge with a corresponding image on the display. When the battery is discharged below a certain threshold, the device does not switch on, but signals about the discharged battery by flashing the screen backlight.
• Screen backlight. Switch on/off by pressing the "Λ/LIGHT" button in the measurement mode.
• Auto power off. If the device is inactive (no button presses or changes in the measurement result) for 5 minutes, it automatically switches off.
