METRINCO LA801C is a portable LA-800 series conductivity meter for measuring electrical conductivity, total dissolved solids (TDS), salinity and temperature of aqueous solutions. Supplied with a CD-2 conductivity cell (K = 1), a separate TPLA-1 temperature probe and 1413 µS/cm and 12.88 mS/cm standard solutions. The CA version includes completion of the module F conformity assessment of the meter; its cost is included in the price, and the meter is supplied with a set of supporting documents.
Please note: ‘In stock’ indicates that the meter is physically available in our warehouse. If conformity assessment of the individual unit has not yet been completed, dispatch may take up to 14 calendar days to complete the procedure and issue the documentation.
Monitoring conductivity and calculated TDS and salinity of water and solutions: purified and drinking water, reverse osmosis and water treatment systems, process solutions, saline water. Suitability for a specific method depends on its requirements.
LA801C features
- Conductivity, TDS and salinity. With the CD-2 cell (K = 1): four subranges from 1.0 µS/cm to 200.0 mS/cm with automatic unit switching; error ±2.5 % of the upper limit of the subrange. TDS and salinity are calculated from conductivity; the TDS conversion factor is user-defined. Ranges (factor 0.66): TDS — 0.0–131.9 ppm; 132–1319 ppm; 1.32–13.19 ppt; 13.2–132.0 ppt; salinity — 0.0–99.9 ppm; 100–999 ppm; 1.00–9.99 ppt; 10.0–100.0 ppt; resolution — 0.1 ppm, 1 ppm, 0.01 ppt and 0.1 ppt according to the subrange.
- Cells with K = 0.1, 1 and 10. The cell constant is set in the menu. Rated metrological characteristics apply to the supplied CD-2 cell (K = 1); please confirm the use of another cell with technical support.
- Flexible calibration settings. Conductivity calibration point values can be changed manually to match the standard solutions in use (preset calibration values: 0, 84, 1413 µS/cm, 12.88 and 80.0 mS/cm). The available set of points depends on the selected cell constant K = 0.1, 1 or 10: lower points for K = 0.1, upper points for K = 10, mid-range points for K = 1. Zero calibration in air is also provided.
- Last calibration information. The Cal. Info menu shows the data of the last calibration: conductivity — calibration date and time, calibration points, temperature and the compensation mode (MTC/ATC). This makes it easy to check when and at which points the conductivity channel was last calibrated.
- Separate temperature probe. The TPLA-1 measures sample temperature from 0 to 110 °C with ±0.5 °C error and provides automatic temperature compensation from 5 to 60 °C; temperature offset adjustment ±3.0 °C.
- Replaceable electrodes, sensors and consumables. Electrodes and sensors are replaced separately from the meter; spare electrodes, sensors, calibration solutions can be ordered from the manufacturer.
- Convenient operation: MAX/MIN mode, splash-protected keypad, backlit 128×64 graphic LCD, built-in stand for bench use.
- Battery operation. Powered by four built-in 10440 (3.7 V) rechargeable batteries, charged via USB Type-C or on the LA80BS base; auto power-off adjustable from 5 to 600 s.
- Field and laboratory measurements. The meter runs on its own batteries, and with the LA80BS base it becomes a bench workstation with magnetic stirring and an electrode holder. The base can be bought later.
Data logging and PC connection
The meter lets you view the last 60 manual records (Recall mode).
Readings with date and time are written to an SD card (FAT32): manually with the STO/Enter key, or automatically by timer at intervals from 1 to 600 s. Records are saved as Excel files in the MANUAL and AUTO folders. An SD card is not included.
Via USB Type-C the meter sends readings to a PC in real time. The Windows software lets you set a sampling interval of 1–600 s, view a chart and save data to an Excel file. The software is provided on request.
LA80BS laboratory base
This version does not include the base. If a bench workstation is needed, the LA80BS laboratory base with a magnetic stirrer, stand and charging can be bought separately. It does not change the meter’s rated metrological characteristics.
Metrological documents
With conformity assessment of the meter. The CA version includes completion of the module F conformity assessment of the individual meter based on the approved type (type-examination certificate UA.TR.001 29-26 of 06.08.2026, module B, SE “Ukrmetrteststandart”); the cost of the assessment is included in the price. Documents: user manual in Ukrainian, warranty card, copy of the declaration of conformity, copy of the type-examination certificate, copy of the module F certificate of conformity.
Metrological calibration in a laboratory accredited to DSTU EN ISO/IEC 17025 is available for an additional fee. Conformity assessment, verification and calibration are different procedures.
